Question for moms who went on a cruise with DC
So, DH wants to go on 4 day cruise in April. We would fly to Florida and then leave from there. I am a little nervous about taking Jacob although I think that he will have a great time. If you took DC on a cruise, what did you do for naps. I guess we would bring the PNP but I am not sure. This would also be the first time he will be going on a plane. TIA!

Re: Question for moms who went on a cruise with DC
In august we took our 2 year old daughter and our 11 month old son on a 7 night cruise to Bermuda, I will not lie it was difficult for us - however we would definatly do it again!
The difficult part was getting our little guy to sleep with his sister being a Chatty mouth. But we did get them both to take naps each day. We would comeback to the room at nap time and turn off all the lights and everyone (including hubby and I) would fall asleep. It was kinda nice being able to take a nap in the middle of the day.
The cruise line supplied us with a pack-n-play for the baby to sleep in, I would recommend bringing your own sheet and blanket though. I also recommend that you bring a lightweight stroller that easily folds up - the hallways on the ship are not very wide and we had a very hard time with our double stroller.
Also, talk to the person who cleans your cabin, ours would make sure ours was the first one turned down at night because he knew with the babies we would be going to bed early.
We did have an awesome time and I am sure you will too, just relax and enjoy!!!

We brought our children on a cruise when they were 2 1/2 and 15 months old. My younger one slept in his stroller for naps. The older one never napped... too much excitement!

Re: Question for moms who went on a cruise with DC
We went on a cruise when DS was 6 months old. We tried to get him to nap in the room and some days it worked and other days it didn't. He was still little then so I had a sling that he would fall asleep in sometimes.
We didn't bring a PNP. They had them available on the ship. We requested it before hand and there was one waiting for us in our room.

Re: Question for moms who went on a cruise with DC
We went for New Year's. DS was 8 months old and it was a lot of fun, and a little hard.
Honestly, flying to Florida for just a 4 day cruise sounds a little tough to me. We flew to Fort Lauderdale and cruised to Mexico and Belize, which is a 5 day and I was exhausted when we got home.
Anyway, we were on RCCL and they gave us a PNP and it was broken, we asked for a new one and they said they were out. So, I would definately bring my own.
DS napped in his stroller too while we were out and about.
All in all it was a lot of fun, but we went on a really crowded week, so that made it a little tough and we also had 25 of our family members on board with us to help too.
