Question for parents with their DC in daycare
Hi ladies... I have a question for you!
For those of you who have your child in daycare 5 days a week.... can you tell me (on average) how much you pay per week or month?

I pay $2417.00 but that's FT for a toddler and infant. My center is about $1300.00 FT for just an infant.

my dd is not in daycare but when I was pricing them, the going rate, here in charlotte was 850-1000 per month for an infant

Wow you ladies really pay a lot per month. I live in PA so i pay 600 per month for DS.
ETA: This is for 50 hours per week.

now he is in a smaller facility and its 920 a month

I pay $125 a week for FT. The daycare is open 6:30 to 6:00 but DS is there from 7:15-3:30. I do not live in NY though.

That's how much we'll be paying for Colin for regular hours. During the summer, DH has to be at work 1/2 hour earlier which eats into the early drop off so until labor day it's $325/week.

$1000/month.
ETA: This is in Suffolk, when I was on SI, I think the cheapest we found was $325 for an infant. My SMIL was going to watch him had we stayed there.
