Question for people that know the Orlando area (nice beaches???)
So we are going to Orlando/Disney for 2-3 days in April and then want to relax by the beach for a few days. Can you please suggest a nice beach area and/or hotel/resort that is close to or at least a bit north of Orlando? We'd like it to be a more "happening" area with things to do...
Any suggestions??? Thank you!

The closest beach area is Cocoa Beach, it's only about 40 minutes from Orlando. If you were willing to drive a little further you could be in Ft Lauderdale or Miami in about 3-4 hours.

If you want to go north, Daytona Beach is about an hour northeast of Orlando.
