Question for people who go to the gym...
I've been back to the gym now for about 2 months and every time I go, by the end of the workout, I have this weird pressure thing going on with my ears. It's like during take off on a plane or something but worse...what's that about?!

Re: Question for people who go to the gym...
I had that this week and it was an inner ear infection- on Cipro drops and Levaquin antibiotics too. Go to the doctor. I have not worked out all week since I had this. And it is driving me nuts not to be at the gym at least 3x a week. I started the medication on Tuesday afternoon , and I am just starting to feel better on Friday, but will not go back to the gym till I am done with the medication.

i get that a lot from working out, i have no idea what it is and haven't been to the doctor about it either
as it is, i think my ears are pretty clogged up, i really need to go to an ENT

I've never experienced this. I definitely suggest seeing an ENT.

Re: Question for people who go to the gym...
I feel like it has to do with maybe me not breathing properly while working out...any thoughts?

I get that too! I wonder what the heck it is? But sounds "Ok" since a few of us get it!
Its like a pressure feeling. I think it has to do with your heart rate going up, therefore your blood pressure goes up and when your pressure goes up you get that pressure like feeling in your head and ears area. ( has a lot of blood there)

Or maybe it's sinus congestion and working out moves it around in such a way to create that sensation?

Re: Question for people who go to the gym...
I get that a lot too...only when I overexert myself or work out "hard core"...my ears "pop" and tingle and my who face gets flushed. I never looked into it because it only happens when I go "crazy" (like doing an hour on the elliptical, burning 800 calories) and I liken it to working out too much and burning a lot of fat.
