Question for the August mommies..
For all of us August mommies..how much is your dc eating and how often? I am not sure Megan is eating enough. She takes about 3 oz every 3-4 hours...although she seemed like she could take more today so we added a little more. Is this about what your children are taking as well??

That's almost exactly how much Ava was taking at that age. If she wants more, just give her more. I've noticed that Ava has times during the day where she could definitely eat 6oz, and other times when she only wants 4oz. We just go with the flow.

July 30th mommy here. DD is 6 weeks old.
I BF, but DH gives DD a bottle of EBM at night- she takes anywhere between 3-4 oz. Never more. Don't know if it's different with formula. She eats every 3 -4 hours usually.

DD is eating about 4oz now. She was also a bigger baby (born almost 9pounds) so I don't know if that makes a difference or not. She was eating 2.5-3 pretty much right away.

I'm not sure how much Molly eats because I breastfeed most of the time but when I do use EBM, she will drink 3-4 oz.

I'm BF - I feed DS about 12 times a day - anywhere from 1 to every 4 hours

James was born on August 30th. He's taking between 3 and 4 oz about every 3 hours. He's a big boy, born 9 pounds 7 ounces, so that might make a difference.

Thomas was born on August 18th and is taking about 3-4 oz every 2-4 hours.
