Re: Question for the bakers
a bunch of recipes i follow (i usually use the ones on the williams-sonoma web site).. usually tell you how long they will last. Most of them are at least a few weeks, if you keep them in an airtight container

You can also freeze the cookies or freeze the dough.

You can also freeze the cookies or freeze the dough. if you freeze them, how long in advance do you start to unfreeze, like if you need them for a sat party when would you take them out and what do you use to store them in, in the freezer. thanks as you see Im clueless about this!

Re: Question for the bakers
I would say a week. Unless you make the dough and freeze it and then bake it. I put a slice of bread in my airtight containers. I change the bread every day to two days.

I've never actually done this. I was going to do it forChristmas, but I never got a chance to bake, but I found this article, it seems helpful.

Re: Question for the bakers
I freeze mine every year. They come out great. Buy some Freezer paper and an air tight conmtainer,. Takes about 24-48 is best to unfreeze them.....
