Frankly, it doesn't bother me either way, but sometimes I miss the whole thread and then I see other threads eluding to it and wish I could have seen it.

it doesn't bother me
a lot of times i assume ppl delete bc they are afraid whoever they arre posting about it might see it
if someone pulls bc they feel they are being attacked - that doesn't bother me either. i think if u post u should expect honesty and should know that u might not always hear what you want, but i also think that ppl have a right to leave up or delete anything they want

ITA. I admit I have done this once. I asked for advice on how to handle a very sad and emotional situation and asked for it to be pulled a few days later to protect the feelings of the subject of the post.

some have asked us to remove because they wanted responses but didn't want someone they might have been speaking about to see the thread. Thus, when the answer(s) were received the OP asked for the thread to be removed.
