Question for those in car sales and or lawyers
DH and I just purchased a new Dodge Journey on June 1st. We did much research to locate the exact vehicle we were looking for with the options we wanted. We found a dodge in jersey and took the trip to purchase the car. The sticker had all the options we were looking for, one which was ipod control (being able to control and listen to our ipod via the radio). It may seem like a trivial option but not to DH. To make a long story short, we got the car home and could not find the ipod connection. We made several calls to dodge who told us it was in the car and where to look for it. After several calls to Dodge and the dealership, someone finally realized that they made a mistake (each is blaming the other... the dealership says dodge made the sticker, dodge says the dealership checked off on the options). We have been told by dodge directly it is a design flaw (the 2009 model had this option with the options we have in the car). Regardless, all DH wants is the option installed. They say it is not possible due to other options we have installed in the car. We have had a couple of offers..... a year of free oil changes or a free car payment. None of these makes DH happy as the car is not equipped with what he expected. They did try to order a part but it did not work. Any advice as to what our options are? Do we have to accept what they are offering? Thanks so much.

Re: Question for those in car sales and or lawyers
if it is stated on the sticker and the sticker came from dodge - they owe it to you, it's what you thought you were buying i.e. one of the ingredients in a chocolate chip cookie mix without the chocolate chips - not what you wanted when you picked up that box of mix {bad analogy, but u get it} keep being a thorn in their side and don't settle for anything less than what you thought you were paying for...
{i asked my sil who has worked at a dealership for 15+ yrs..} squeaky wheel gets the grease, don't give up!
good luck
