Question for those on WW
I am considering joining and want to know, are the meetings necessary?
DH and I were on WW about 2 yrs ago, but we joined right before Thanksgiving, and fell "off the wagon" fairly quickly. We did buy the dining out books and such, which were utterly helpful, but I gave them away. I want to basically get those books.

I was on in for a few months lost 15lbs and did not attend one meeting..I did it online. I think some people need the meetings and some don't.
Good Luck! I think its the best diet!

I've done both and while I do like the meetings & find them motivational, with a baby there's not much time for the meetings anymore. On-line has worked and suited my needs with scheduling.

I don't go to the meetings, I do WW online. So far, so good.
On the other hand, my mom swears by the meetings and insists that she has to go in order to do well on the plan. For me, its too hard to go while working full time and having a 5 month old.

I do not attend the WW meetings. I only do WW online, which has been successful for me so far. I do have friends however who find the meetings extremely helpful. It depends what works for you and what is the most motivational approach for you.

I joined WW online on 1/2 so I do not go to meetings. It takes a lot to do it yourself you have to be honest with yourself.

B4 my wedding I did WW online & ended up losing 48 lbs. Personally I don't think the meetings help me much...what keeps me motivated is doing it w/ someone & making it a competition (in my head)...that is just me though.
