Question for those that breastfeed for a long time...past 1

When you say you are still breast feeding, are you literally still BF or are you pumping and they are drinking from a bottle? Kind of a bizarre question I know...but I am sure others are wondering the same thing. One of my aunts breastfed (literally) until my cousin was almost 3 Chat Icon

My pump has been packed away for months.

He drinks water from a cup, but nurses 3 times a day.

I haven't pumped since DS was about 13 months. I was only pumping while I was at work anyway. So, yes I am REALLY breastfeeding my 16 month old.

I stopped pumping at work at 12 months, but continued to BF my older DD till she was 2.5 years old! I hope to do the same for my 7 month old DD as well.

Emma was 2 1/2 when she stopped nursing. She was on solids but would still have the boob before bed and when she woke up

Jeremy did the same thing when he stopped at 18 months

Lucas drinks sippies, eats solids but nurses when he gets up, goes to bed and any other time he decides he wants to during the day.

I stopped pumping at 11.5mths and continued to nurse DD til 13mths. The last few weeks she was just nursing in the morning only and drinking soy milk and juice during the day.
