question for those who had or have attended a beach wedding
i stated a little over a week ago, that my cousin got engaged. she wants a beach wedding.
today, she told me that she wants a small (50), casual wedding.
i offered to help with all my diy-ing.
what does this kind of a bride need?

My friend is getting married in Key West on the beach and we are doing everything the same. The only dif is we will be wearing flip flops instead of heels.

fan programs for the beach...we went to a wedding on the beach in July and it was a great idea...also placescards that were sand dollars but in a basket of sand...very nice

she also had a little basket right when people were stepping on to the beach with a sign that said..."shoes optional"

You can also have a basket next to that basket with flip flops with assorted sizes.
Also, for the weekend bags, my cousin handed out beach pails filled with shells and other goodies.
We provided fans (and I wanted to do parasols, but we ended up having a tent).

We were originally planning a beach wedding:
fans for is it's hot!
sand instead of unity candle
nice sandals/flats
ribbons tied to chairs looks pretty blowing in the wind
Bottled water
Permits to do it on the beach, I think if there is nothing actually set up then you don't need permits
Will this be here on LI or a destination wedding?

I had a beach wedding in July in Puerto Rico 
Is she planning on having a destination wedding or is she going to get married locally?
I had a basket with assorted sized flip flops for my guests for the ceremony (our ceremony was on the beach). EVERYONE loved this idea and the flip flops went so fast!!
I also did gift bags for people when they checked into our hotel. If you need ideas for this, I'd be more than happy to help.
