Question for those who's DC just transferred to milk...(or BTDT moms)
When you go out , running errands or for the day- Do you bring milk bottles with you or wing it and buy it while you are out ?
With my DS I always made milk bottles and kept them in a freezer bag with a cold pack ( which of-course I can't locate and I have 2 of them ) It was kind of a PIA making sure I always remembered to stick the cold pack back in the fridge
Is there an easier way ? Do those boxes of milk need refrigeration, and if so can you use them ( are they the same as whole milk )?
When my DD gets tired, she wants a bottle immediately so I would prefer not to have to worry about finding milk while we are out especially while we are driving...
Thoughts, tips ?? Thanks

DS was off bottles, but I usually just had a sippy cup of milk...only when it was really hot in the summer did I really worry about keeping it cold (or leaving it home in lieu of juice or water)

i do have one of those milk juice boxes in my bag at all times but typically i just try and buy some... though now when we are out ds has started taking water or juice instead which is fine by me... he drinks enough milk normally to miss one cup here and there

DD is off bottles, and normally only has one sippy of milk during the day, so I always have one hand in the cooler packs...

I don't usually go out for long enough that they would want it. They really only get cups at mealtimes. If I am going to be out during one of their mealtimes I'll bring the sippy in a cold bag with an ice pack. Are you talking about the horizon boxes? Those don't need to be refrigerated, but they aren't whole milk.

Those probably are what I'm thinking of ...I just know I had remmebered seeing "milk in a box' and wasn't sure what it was...Oh well

DS only gets milk in the morning and right before bed, my ped. said at most 16 oz.
But I do take a sippy of water with me, and because he likes it cold I have to bring an ice pack lol. I actually use the pack I had from my medela pump, because its small enough to fit in my bag, and big enough for the ice pack and sippy.

DD still enjoys her bottle when she gets sleepy though she uses her cup throughout the day...
She still also only drinks 4oz at a time - Yet still she is in the 90% in weight and height
