Question from a soon to be mom...

I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow. Doctor said i dropped last week and the baby's head is down. today i feel like i can feel his head right on my cervix, especially when i walk. it is a sign that i can go early? im also nesting now and have a lot of energy back.

TIA! Chat Icon

Anything can happen at this point. I felt the same way when I had my first ds and I was 11 days late.
I painted the bathroom and refolded all my towels in the closet right before I gave birth...Chat Icon

I agree--anything can happen!! I was 10 days late with DS and went for a facial and cooked a big dinner before I went into labor

Re: Question from a soon to be mom...

i honestly wasn't dilated at all!! my appointment was 2 days before i went into labor, he said "no time soon" and boy was he wrong! i broke my water picking up my 14 pound dog to put into my car and it broke!! i got to the hospital maybe an hour later and i was 4cm already! so you just never know! i would actually wait it out another week till your 37 weeks. he was 37 weeks i think on the nose and he was perfectly healthy, full term. if he would've been born a day before, he would've been pre term

They didn't keep my daughter any longer because she was born before 37 weeks. She passed all the tests, latched and was eating and hadn't lost more than 10% (I think that's the cut off) of her birth weight. She was born on a Wednesday afternoon and we were both booted out of the hospital on Friday by noon.
