Question of the day...
So I've had pre AF spotting for two days now, but she's not here in full force yet. I know I don't count CD1 until she's actually here, but do these past two days count as part of my luteal phase?

CD1 is the first day of regular flow...so you wouldnt start counting just yet

according to fertility friend.com, they count spotting as part of your LP. once you hit AF light flow, that is CD1 of your next cycle.

Re: Question of the day...
I understand that. I started spotting yesterday, which was probably DPO10, and I'm concerned that's pretty short. But I keep counting DPO's until AF shows in full force, so that means I'm currently on DPO11, which isn't as bad...
I know, I'm obsessing...but I'm trying to make sense of it all! I guess it's just that I know a short LP could mean progesterone deficiency - does the fact that I'm spotting mean I'm not producing just enough to stop the lining from shedding entirely, but not enough to prevent the spotting??? Or am I just overanalyzing?
ETA: Cross posted with Blue Diamonds - thanks for the additional info.
