Question/Opinon
My last AF was March 15.
Took a pg test on April 12 BFN.
Took another one on May 3, BFN.
An hour after I took my PG test, (sorry TMI) I wiped and saw spotting, ok so I thought I had wasted the test and that AF had arrived.
Few hours later it stopped.
Ideas??
I have a call in to the doctor.

if it's been almost two months since your last AF, i would be a little concerned - did you just come off birth control? definitely call your dr for an appointment, especially if you had spotting. good luck!!

did you get AF right after coming off BC? like you normally between pill packs?

i can give you my own experience:
i went off BC on 9/16/07 and got my period two days later. i then got it again 3 1/2 weeks later (a normal cycles for me since i have short cycles).
if you didn't get AF for 6 weeks each time then i would think something is up, except that you just came off BC. i am thinking that it's a good idea to make an appointment with your OBGYN but they will probably jsut tell you (as other girls on this board have experienced) that it takes a while for your body to regulate itself after coming off BC.
personally (and this is just for me, it's not a judgment on anyone) i would not feel comfortable having a period only 2x in three months - and having only one of those be a short, light period. i would make my dr. run tests to make sure nothing was going on.

I have no idea, but i feel your frustration! My last AF was 3/28, no spotting, no signs of AF, and i've never been this late before (until a few months ago, i could even pinpoint the time of day that i would get AF).

you are absolutely right. as a matter of fact it is bothering me that the obgyn is not concerned with this. i am going to call after the blood test tomorrow and schedule an appointment.

I'm going to give it another week so that i'm officially 2 weeks late when i call (if AF doesnt come before then).

I went for my blood test. Waiting on results. Should have them tomorrow afternoon- will let you know asap.
