Question re: Baby Movements
This weekend I saw my cousin who is due 3 weeks before me. She's 27 weeks pregnant and said she doesn't feel much baby movements throughout the day. This is her second pregnancy and both of them she has felt little movements throughout the day. Her first child is a very active kid ironically, he is into everything and very alert.
My baby is non-stop, in the morning on the way to work to the moment I lay down to sleep - I feel like a punching bag - poking, rolling - I love it but I just found it so odd that she hasn't gone through that either and I was wondering if your experiences are similar to mine. I don't think much caffeine and everything is normal - but i keep thinking this is going to be one hyper kid! lol
So, just wondering - how often do u feel your baby? Do you feel it constantly? Not so much?
Thanks Ladies! This is my first child, so all of the sensations and feelings are all so new to me!

Re: Question re: Baby Movements
Some days he moves like a kick boxer, other days he is a lazy little boy. I guess it all depends on his mood! I guess its normal for everyone to feel differently. But I have to say I love to feel him move. It's the best feeling in the world...untill he is big enough to start kicking me in the ribs and stuff, then I'll let you know If I still love it

Re: Question re: Baby Movements
There were days when I felt the baby all day long and others where I was nervous because I hardly felt the baby. It really does depend on the person, everyone is different. I don't think an active baby in the womb is going to be a sign of things to come though...

Re: Question re: Baby Movements
Thanks ladies
I was just thinking - it may also have to do with the fact that i sit my booty down all day at a desk and she is in retail so always on her feet.
I notice when I move around alot or am cleaning - I dont' feel the baby as much - so this may be why we have been feeling different movements....

Re: Question re: Baby Movements
My little girl is a mover.. Especially when she hears my 2 dogs barking or my hubby talking, it is really cute..
Are you carrying really small that may be a reason you can feel everything, I remember the dr telling me that since I was carrying tiny it is easier to hear the heartbeat, and you feel everything moving around, less room for baby lol....

Re: Question re: Baby Movements
most of the time my angel is really lazy...I feel her at certain times of day for a bit, and that's it. At my last appt. I mentioned that, and they did a sono and and NST to make sure she was not in distress and moving. They had said I may not be feeling the movements.
And I was told by a BTDT mom that as you get bigger, you feel less since there is less room for them to move. Now, her movements feel like squirming, I can feel them in two spots instead of one!
