Question re: maternity clothes....
As for tops, do you wear ones that are fitted or ones that flare out over belly?
I noticed lately considering the size of belly that fitted shirts tend to make me look smaller and show off my round belly.
The others are like tents and make me look overall, FAT!

Re: Question re: maternity clothes....
I'm only 23 weeks, and I definitely agree with you. On my body presently, I feel fitted shirts make me look MUCH smaller, and the flared, looser shirts make me look HUGE, like 9+ months pregnant!

Re: Question re: maternity clothes....
I wear both...mostly fitted though. Although my butt got so big too that when I wear a LONG fitted shirt, it makes me look like I have a watermelon in the front AND the back! The flared shirts make my butt look smaller!

Re: Question re: maternity clothes....
I've been wearing the flared-out, tunic-style tops, but I am beginning to feel like a walking circus tent!

Well, I have one H&M shirt, maternity is available only at the Source mall and its fits so awesome!
I also wear the gap t-shirts with a sweater over it and those are fitted.

Re: Question re: maternity clothes....
Depended upon what stage I was in.
I did find around week 20 that many shirts weren't long enough if I was wearing certain pants and now that's completely the case.
Luckily, I have some long shirts that I now wear with pants that go over my belly.

Re: Question re: maternity clothes....
I wear both, but I did notice that today I have a slightly flared top on and I look much more PG than I did yesterday in a fitted sweater

I have found the same thing. The looser fittingones just make me look huge.

Re: Question re: maternity clothes....
I agree--the ones that are fitted right under my boobs are much more flattering.

Re: Question re: maternity clothes....
I perfer the empire waist shirts that flare out towards the bottom. My belly isn't perfectly rounded and it makes me self-concious when something is too tight on it....
