Question re: your High Chair.
So I registered for one of these today before researching high chairs - the guy who helped us at buy buy baby (who was so helfpul) raved about and suggested the Peg Perego Prima Pappa so I went with this one. Now I am reading baby bargains and they give it a pretty bad review so now I am torn - which high chair do you have, why did you choose it and are you happy with it?
THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE

Re: Question re: your High Chair.
What are they saying is bad about it? I have it and absolutely love it! My parents have the Graco space-saver one and I hate it, and so does Ava. I've never had a problem with it. (the Prima Papa)

Re: Question re: your High Chair.
If I remember right, Baby Bargains didn't like that it was more money than the FP Healthy Care ones.
We have the FP one and I really like it. I thought the Prima Poppa looked really nice too. I don't think you can go wrong.

THank you for the quick response! I really liked the look and features of this chair in the store! I have the book in front of me - it says that the tray is too high above the seat (unless you have a very tall baby) and too far from the back. Also that it is difficult to clean. Do you find any of these things to be true in practice? THANK YOU again

Re: Question re: your High Chair.
I also have it and love it. I have had no probelms with it at all and to me it cleans up easily. I also never noticed the tray being to high or to far from the back

Re: Question re: your High Chair.
I have never noticed any of the problems, and actually find it quite easy to clean! I honestly think it's one of the nicest high chairs I've seen and used.

Re: Question re: your High Chair.
My sister has this one and I've always thought the same thing about the tray and seat --- that it's too far away from the baby. I also have had a heck of a time taking the tray on and off of hers, and she did too for the longest time. When she finally figured out how to do it it broke but she had already been using it for months without removing the tray (just sliding the baby in and out since she was young at that point anyway) and so she didn't return it.
I personally have the fisher price aquarium high chair, and although it doesn't have the nice patterns the way the primo pappa does (it's bright blue!) I love the highchair and think it's the best one that I've ever used (i've also used my other niece's evenflo)

Re: Question re: your High Chair.
I have one of the FP chairs, just because I didn't want to spend alot on a high chair. I used my friend's Peg and I too thought the tray was too high. I also felt that there was too much padding. I like my FP except for 2 things, it does not fold compactly (which I don't do often anyway), and it doesn't wheel very easily on my wood floors (not sure if this would be different with a different chair or not).

Re: Question re: your High Chair.
I had a Chicco Polly which looked amazing, and was great when I was in charge of the kid. But the kid got a free will once he reached about 6 months and the chair was too hard to clean for me, every week I had to take the whole thing apart and wash it down in the sink, and put the straps into the washing machine.
Now that he is older, I got a Babydan chair, its wood, you can simply sponge it down, it come right up to the table and he loves it!!!
If I had to do it again, I would skip the highchair, use a bouncy chair for when they are little and go right to a feeding chair.
