Question regarding bedroom set

I am contemplating getting this bed for our bedroom. From the picture it looks like i don't need a boxspring. Do you think i do? I would much rather have a box spring but am not sure if i can.....

Re: Question regarding bedroom set

You probably can get a boxspring...I noticed that in a lot of furniture advertisements/pictures the beds are shown w/o a boxspring. I guess it all depends on the headboard and if it will look as nice with a boxspring but I think it should look fine. Also check with the store or manufacturerer to make sure you can use a boxspring.

ETA: Nice bedroom set!

Nice BR set!

I would ask when you see the pieces in person if it can fit a box spring. It will be better for the mattress to have one.

Re: Question regarding bedroom set

Our guest room bed is like the one you posted, and it has a box spring. BUT, the bed has a comforter on it. So there's no blanket tucked in like that so you can't see the boxspring. It would look weird to have that bedding and then a boxspring underneath (even if you put a fitted sheet on the boxspring, you'd still see it).
