Question regarding UGG boots:
a friend of mine told me that she knows someone who bought UGG boots in a larger children's size - they are the same exact style and everything as the adult - but instead of a 7 like she normally wears she bought say, a 9.5 in children's - the reason she did this is b/c the children's boots go for like 70 bucks vs. the $130+ you might spend on the same adult version.
thoughts? anyone try this?
i'm just curious b/c i already have two pairs of UGG boots i found (pretty good price BTW!) at DSW. but they are tall and i want a pair of the shorter ones too (preferably w/o breaking the bank) - just wondering if anyone else has done this and if it is "legit".

hmm - i wonder how you would go about figuring out what size you would be - i believe that the person who did this told my friend she usually wears a 7 and got a kid's 9.5. but if you are saying you wear an 8 and went with a kids six then i'm confused lol.
how do you figure it out?
i mean, i can't go to the ugg outlet or lord and taylor and start asking them to try on kid's shoes - can I? (lol)

Re: Question regarding UGG boots:
Well 6 is the largest kids size they make, so I really doubt your friends bought a 9.5.
I acutally discovered it by accident. I was at the smithhaven mall and they have those soes troes with displays, so I stopped to look st the Uggs, not realizing it was a kids shoe store. The sticker on the bottom said kids 2-6, womens 5-8. And I noticed the orice was 30 dollars left. I asked the girl working there if they really fit up to womens 8, she said yes, so I tried them on and bought them.
I;d say go to mall and try them on. Then you can either buy them or order online.

darn - i must have heard through the grapevine incorrectly - unless she mistook it for the euro size - they put them all in a row and i guess sometimes you can look at it wrong??
wow - good discovery btw!
the prob is - and this is why i'm bummed to hear about the miscommunication about the size - is that i wear a size 10 in women's shoes (sometimes 11) and i don't think they make a kid's size large enough for me. blast

Re: Question regarding UGG boots:
I do that with clothing too - I can fit into most junior sizes, so I just buy from the junior section...

Re: Question regarding UGG boots:
I don't think you'll find a kids size that will fit. I got the kids at the outlets, but a 6 is the largest they make, and as everyone else has said, that's a women's 8.
