question update
i have been finding dd on her belly sleeping when i go in there and check on her and when she crys cause she can't turn her slef over.
I don't know what happend she was rolling over for like 4 days and stoped she does not do it anymore.
Do i leave her like that or do i put her on her back or side.
She is 4 1/2 months old.
I usually put her down on her side.
Update: so last night dh put her down for bed she was on her side.
Well when i woke up at 3:30 in the morning i had this werid feeling she was on her belly.
Well long and behold she was. I tured her over on to her side as soon as i did that she put herself right back onto her belly. I did it like 5 times n she keep on putting herself on her belly.
My question is should i put the sleep posinter back in or just let her sleep like that.
the only consuren i have is she is not rolling back onto her back.
but this morning i did find her on her back so she turned herself back over.
She slepted till 8.
what do i do i'm so scared of her sleeping like that.

Re: question
The same thing happened with my dd at that age. I asked her dr. and he said to put her down on her back and if she turns over herself leave her.

Re: question update
You really can't do much to control it if she can roll to her belly herself.
I put DS on his belly and he rolls to his side or his back if he feels like it. But he does not go to sleep well on his back, so as soon as he could roll, we stopped that.

Re: question update
This is exactly what I have been going through for the past week. Ava is almost 4 1/2 months & she can roll over both ways, but for some reason she flips onto her belly in the crib & doesn't go back. She was struggling at first & I rolled her back over the first few times, but as of Sunday night, she is sleeping fine on her belly. She turns her head to the side, so breathing is not a problem. Give her some time - she'll be fine sleeping on her belly.

Her dr. said the same thing, but all dr. are different. Ask them and see what they say if your nervous.

Re: question update
I personally do not want DS sleeping on his belly yet - I'm wayyy to scared. He has been rolling from back to belly....I bought a sleep positioner and put an end to that.
If you don't mind the belly sleeping then I would leave her.

Re: question update
Honestly, if she is going to keep rolling on her stomach but does NOT know how to roll from belly to back, I would personally keep her in a sleep positioner. As soon as MIkayla could roll over both ways, I let her sleep however she wants
