Questions

DS will be a month on the 11th. Right now I let him sleep whenever he wants (usually after feeding for 30-45 min). He only has a few hours everyday where he is in a state of alertness and I play and read to him. Even though he sleeps so much during the day he still sleeps great at night (averages 3.5 -4 hrs at a time) Should I continue this or try and get him to have more alert time in the day?


DS has gone 24 hrs without a BM. He is passing gas and has had a lot of wet diapers, but no poo. How long before I should worry? Since I BF I just worry about him getting enough boob juice.

First...I found that as they grow babies will stay up for longer periods of time...sounds like you are doing great with him

Second..Kerri was one of those babies that pooped every other day in the beginning...so I wouldn't worry unless it has been two days without a BM
