Questions about Long Beach
I haven't been there since I was a kid...I know if you don't have a permit you have to pay per person to get on the beach....about how much was it last summer?
Also, I vaguely remember a boardwalk...but you could get from the beach to the boardwalk and were there any restaurants/cafes on there?
Thanks!

Re: Questions about Long Beach
Last year it was $10 a person to get onto the beach. I know kids are either free under a certain age or discounted if they are too old to be free. On the website for the city of long beach, it says the prices will be posted in May for admission and for seasonal passes.

Re: Questions about Long Beach
They don't start charging until Memorial Day Weekend. It will most likely be $10 again this year, not sure if they're raising it. There's a sort of fancy restaurant on the boardwalk in the hotel Allegria. It's brand new and looks really nice. There's also an ice cream stand on the boardwalk, but its not open yet. You can easily get to the beach from many points on the boardwalk. HTH!
