Questions for those that had a C-section and went back to working out
How long did you wait to start working out? What kind of exercise routine did you do?
I tried doing the Jillian Michaels workout at about 7 weeks PP and I got such bad cramps and pains that lasted days. I finally feel a bit better today but am skeptical.

I started out by just taking long walks around the neighborhood, or walking on my treadmill, about 3-4 weeks postpartum. At about 5 weeks I started doing pilates, but I pushed it too far, too quick and popped a stitch so I waited until 8 weeks postpartum to start back up. Then I eased into more of a routine with the elliptical and running on the treadmill.

You need to start out light. I began swimming 6 weeks pp. But I wasn't raising my heartrate too much, just more getting abck in the motion.
ETA: I did start by taking walks around the neighborhood at 2 weeks.
