Questions re: 2 month appointment
DS had his 2 month appointment this morning. He's sleeping right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets fussy at some point.
How quickly did you see a reaction to the 2 month shots? What type of reaction did your DC have?
How much weight did your DC gain and how much did DC grow from birth to 2 months? DS grew 2 inches and gained 5 lbs since he was born. The last time he was weighed was at his 2 week appointment. I couldn't believe how much weight he gained since then.

DS Freaked out about 6 hours after his shots. Looking back, it was because his legs were sore. This time during his 4 month, I gave him tylenol every 4 hours till the next day and he did not react at all  you may want to get the infant tylenol ready for DC.
at birth he was 18.5 inch at 2 months he was 23 1/4 inch. he was 5 lbs 15 oz and at 2 months was 11 pds 3.5 oz so he grew a lot!

Right away. I saw the effect almost immediately. Sleepy, crabby, eating differnces... It stinks but it will wear off tomorrow, most likely

as of last week he was up 4lbs

DS got a lot of shots. He got 3 actual shots, but some of them were combined vaccines. He also drank the rotavirus one.

yea, that is a lot
i think im going to stagger them
let him get one shot and the rotavirus and then the following week get the other 2 or vice versa

it depends on the baby... my DS is lucky, he has never had a single reaction to any of his shots.

Neither one of my girls has ever had a reaction (knocks on wood). I give Tylenol about 30 minutes prior to the shots being given, then Tylenol again 4 hours later.

DD has her 2 month appt coming up this Friday, but we were at the doc last week for a check up when she had a cold...DD was born at 6lbs 10 oz and at 8 weeks she was 12lbs on the dot not sure about length, but she was 23 inches at her month appt

none of my kids ever had reactions to shots.
My son gained 5 pounds and 5 inches in the first 2 months.
My oldest DD gained 4 pounds and 4 inches in the first 2 months!
My second DD gained 6 1/2 pounds and 6 1/2 inches in the first 2 months!

DS had his 2 month appt on Sat.
Birth - 7lbs 15 oz - 20.5 inches
2 months - 13 lbs 10.5 oz - 23 inches
He got 2 shots (combo vaccines) - one in each leg & the oral vaccine
