QUICK-Airplane seating w/lap infant
whats the best seat to have with a lap infant
Traveling with dd by myself.

How long is the flight? I flew with DS when he was 10 months - flight was 7 hours and we booked the bulk head with the pop down bassinet - I dont know if that is an option for you.
If not and you are going to be sitting in a regular seat then anywhere near the front and an aisle seat so you can get in and out easily.

If you and DH can book aisle/window that would be ideal. You will be passing the baby back and forth anyways  Otherwise, window is best. You don't want to have to get up if someone needs to use the restroom

I suggest booking the aisle and the window. More than likely they won't put someone between you, and if they do, once they see you have a baby they will try and move. It worked like a charm for us

Oh, flying alone? Definitely the window! Also, use the baby bjorn or sling, or whatever baby carrier you prefer. It is so much easier to get around the airport when you are essentially hands free. Also helps when/if you need to use the restroom You can check the stroller when you check your luggage.
If you need the stroller for the airport, just gate check it (but still use the bjorn to get on/off the plane)

I agree-I flew alone with both kids a few weeks ago and I took the window, DS on my lap and DD in a middle seat. WHen DH flies with us we do the same setup but he gets the aisle.
