Quick and Easy Appetizer Recipe...
I went to a cooking demonstration at William Sonoma and the chef made these...so yummy and VERY easy..wanted to share..
Dates and Goat Cheese
Pitted Dates Goat cheese Panko bread crumbs..you can get these in the Chinese section in any supermarket..they are used for tempura recipes
Slit dates. Do not cut them in half. Stuff with goat cheese. Toast panko bread crumbs in a pan until they are browned. Make sure to rub olive oil on the bottom of the pan, so they do not stick. Take date (stuffed with GC) and dip into crumbs (GC side down into crumbs). Place all of them on a baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes until heated through. Serve warm!
I am telling you that you will be pleasantly surprised with these..ENJOY!
