Quick Fundraising Ideas?
I need some help!
I am a DECA advisor at a Suffolk High School and we need to raise funds very quickly for a state conference in March.
Besides the typical selling candy, does anyone have any ideas on what my students can do that doesn't require too much time or too much money up front?
Thanks!!

You can ask local businesses to donate items: gift certificate to nail salons, hair dressers, restaurants.
Also ask bakeries, pizza places, delis, bagel shops, bowling alley, movie theater - my friend usually had luck asking for donations when she organized silent auctions.
She also called local sports teams and received donations from the mets, yankees, etc. Not great seats or the best date/time of game but it's a nice prize.
She found that most places are happy to donate something if they are asked.
Families can put together baskets to be raffled.
What about a bake sale? book sale (everyone bring in books they don't want to keep anymore)?

they do these a lot at schools in my area in NJ. they call them "tricky trays"- it seems like they usually have good luck with them!

Re: Quick Fundraising Ideas?
cookie lee is a jewlery company that has cute things and they do fundraisers. You would have to find a consultant in your area but if you plug in your info on their site they can direct u to the person in your area.
