Quick help w/ Children's Place sizing- please :-)
How do their clothes run? I don't have anything from there.
I am buying ds an outfit for a formal-ish party that is in 2 1/2 weeks.
At our last ped appt (a week and a half ago) he was 9lbs 1oz and 21".
DS will only be a little over 7 weeks old at the party but he grew an inch and gained over 2lbs since he was discharged after his birth.
They have: 0-3 which is 18"-22" 7-11lbs and 3-6 which is 22"-25" 11-15lbs
I Googled it and read that CP runs small but then realized the thread was from 2002 and so I can't really trust that, kwim?
TIA

I find the Children's Place runs smaller in the length department, but fits bigger than Gap in the waist areas. Children's Place fits DS well because he is chunky, but not tall.
I think 0-3mos would still be ok, but not sure.
I agree, buy both and return what you don't use

I think it runs kind of big, but I have a peanut.
IMO, the length is more important than the weight limits. DS was short, but chunky as a newborn/infant. He was beyond the weight limits for various sizes, but had no problem fitting into the clothes b/c he was on the shorter side.

I would try both and see what fits better, return the other and now you know what to buy for right now...KWIM?
And for future reference, CP doesn't make 2T, only 24 months and 3T, which is HIGHLY annoying........my son can't really wear much of their stuff right now because 24 mos is too small and 3T is too big....grrrr!
