Quick ins q-NYC teachers pls come in
Hi everyone
I'm a NYC teacher with ghi insurance and uft for prescriptions
My little guy needs an epi pen. Are they covered?
What do you guys pay? Do oh get them through mail order or from pharmacy?
Believe it or not I called uft office today and got 2 different answers from 2 diff people. I'm wondering what really goes on...

Call Medco. I dont know if its covered, but i would think so. You have to do the mail order thru medco for Rxs you need more than 3 times.

Being he won't be using the epi unless its an emergency you should be able to get it at a drug store and not mail away. Go to a drug store give them the prescription and see what they say

I get it at the pharmacy and pay a copay, I think $15.
