OK, we speckled and sanded, but there dust everywhere. I have furniture being delivered tomorrow and I need to clean up all the dust quick! What's the best way to get all the dust off the walls? I have hard wood floors, so no water, and we can't find a shop vac anywhere (because of the hurricanes). Will a regular vacuum do the trick well enough? TIA!

I would use a wet cloth and a bucket of water for the floors and a dry cloth for the walls.

We used swiffer on the walls. Worked great! We also have all hard wood flooring and used a wet cloth. Murphy's oil is great too!

Our floor guy who is DH's cousin said NEVER use murphy's oil on hardwood floors. He said something about the floors not last as long. He always says clean them with water and vinegar! I trust the advice because it's family.
