Quick question about hats and weather
At what temperature is it ok not to put a hat on a 3 month old?

Well, I try to make my 22 month old wear a hat most of the time outside...in the warmer weather she wears a sunhat b/c it protects her head from the sun.

So it isn't really about keeping them warm just for the sun. For my son I have his hats he has been wearing all winter till now but in the warm weather I feel they will be so hot. What do you ladies put on your boys?

Right, it's about protecting their heads (and keeps the sun out of their eyes), although I'm sure you'll keep him in the shade anyway.

My DS is always wearing a hat.
In the Fall-Spring-Summer, he wears a baseball cap. In the winter he wears a fleece or knit hat.

Yeah he would be in the shade. I just don't want him to be to hot and I absolutely want his head covered with something. I will be on the hunt for a baseball hat. I just didn't know if that would be comfortable for his little head. Thanks ladies!

They make all kinds of awesome hats for kids, esp. little babies. I got some good ones in BRU last year, they're a soft fabric, and are waterproof and machine washable. Check around BRU.
