Quick tax question.....
Are you allowed to claim whatever you want? For example, can you claim single even if your married????

No- you are supposed to claim either married filing jointly or married filing single if you are married at the end of a tax year.

On your W-4 form you can. But, when you file you taxes at the end of the year, you must claim accurately. Either "married filing separate" or "married" filing joint (I'm assuming you're married)
