I am the queen of breakouts right now
To be honest, I don't know what you can use over the counter. My doctor gave me an Rx for Erthromycin gel to apply wherever I have the breakouts. Just got it yesterday so don't know how good it works yet.

That is what I was considering.
Ugh, I never ever break out, but this pregnancy, forget it!

You're 16 weeks also right?
I feel like I've been breaking out BAD this week. I normally do not have bad skin at all! This baby must be sucking every last drop out of me.

You can also dab some alcohol on it to dry it out.
Also, I have been using tea tree oil wash, I scrub it on with a face brush. It helps keep skin clear.

I would still mention to your doctor just in case. Mine had no issue with tea tree oil wash, but she also didn't have any issues with the proactive cleanser.

Yes, 16+ weeks, but mine started in my first trimester! At my 12 week appointment I didn't even mention it because I was hoping it would go away, but it's only gotten worse. My forehead, especially my temple area, and all around my chin is full of them.

Thanks! So frustrating because my skin is normally clear.

Re: Quick-who wants to tel me what we can use for breakouts?
I use Azelex, which is an Rx-strength acne cream. I asked my dermatologist and this is considered a class B medication, so it's okay to use. It works so-so. Not as good as some other stuff out there, but it'll do for now.

I have been going every week to the derm for a glycolic peel, extraction, and cortisone shots. I have been using Cetaphil at home.

I use Cetaphil twice a day, and toothpaste if I get a horrible zit, seems to do an ok job.
