He showed a lot more restraint in his comment than I would have.
There are a lot of sad, soulless people out there.

It truly is disturbing. I had to stop reading them. People just don't get it.
I've learned a long time ago to never read these random people's comments on stories. They will try and find a negative in any situation and are so nasty in the way the go about expressing themselves.
I think what these parents are doing for their sick daughter and their other children is amazing!

I am not going to even bother reading the nasty comments. If people say something negative about this story, they are truly ugly to the core.
I think about Quinn daily. What a precious, beautiful, loved little girl. My heart breaks for the family.

I think what people don't get is that the family didn't ask for this. ANY of it. it was all about a community and many many people who feel moved by the story and want to reach out any way they can.
And for the people saying Quinn won't remember Disney, Quinn won't remember tea. She won't remember any of it, because the fact is that barring a miracle, this precious angel will get her wings all too soon. Why people would criticize a family trying to make memories and give all three of their children a full life with what they have is beyond me.
The comments don't even make sense. Some people are saying they're so rich they shouldn't take money, and others are saying they're using the baby to get things they can't afford. Which is it?
I think the article really painted it in a bad light. They made it seem like the family was focused on big flashy things (but really, how flashy is a 40 minute drive to FAO Schwartz?), when really the list is much much longer than that.

It brings me some joy to think that those boys will at least be able to say "hey, rememer when Quinn was flower girl?" "Remember when we went to Disney with Quinn and she loved the lights?" it's for everyone.

She said they were never contacted for this story. I can't believe it's legal to publish a story like this without consent...

That's horrible if they weren't contacted prior! I dont like the way the article portrayed the story. As for the asshats making their stupid comments, I am sad that people are that cruel, rude and insensitive especially when it has to do with a sweet innocent child.

How dare they print such a half arse story without permission and then allow comments like that?! They have caused pain and suffering to a family who has enough going on in their life and that stupid article is about as well written as a 5 year old.

Wow. I am surprised that people posted that story without their permission. OMG. How awful and wrong and while I am sure the Linzers dont have the head or time for a legal battle, I would consider legal action. Nothing worse than being defamed to some extent. Like this poor family needs this now.

The comments are moronic but it's also the way the article was written. There was one part that even sounded like the bucket list was against thedoctor's orders. I had already seen the blog so I already knew how it really was. The article is misleading. The comments are rude anyway though.

As someone who's family was on the receiving end of horrible comments online when my stepdaughters' house burnt down, I realized that there is no end to asssholes with Internet balls. This broke my heart. While the situations are different, I know how this can slice you apart. It even went so far as someone in LIF fming me taunting me about it. People behind a computer screen can be awful nasty fukks. My heart breaks for Erin and her family, but it seems she is trying to find her peace with all of this!

Exactly i think its wonderful and it gives the family a reason to not sit around the house, feeling sad, waiting for it to happen. They need these memories!! I hope other parents follow in their footsteps! I didnt read the comments, people are just jerks!

If you are reading this (this thread on LIF) I want to be very clear aboiut something.
I KNOW you are smart enough to know that anyone behind a computer can say ANYTHING they want.
I hope and pray you dont read any of it (I sure don't) but take strength from your good heart. You KNOW who you are. Who your family is. You know that none of it is true.
You know that the only thing thats important is your family.
So, if any point you were to get messages, note, etc saying negative things, smile and ignore all of it. Becuase in your heart of hearts you have more to think about than any silly person who hides behind a computer.
And don't let one silly person take away from the support and love you get from REAL people who know the heart you and your family have.

This family is beyond reproach and are flat out amazing. It is clear that Quinn's every medical need is being taken care of and they are also creating happy memories for their entire family of this precious time they have with Quinn. I hate trolls.
