do you know the ones i'm talking about? maybe knee length and they are flowy from under the chest area, but the sleeves are fitted (long)??? i'm looking for a dress like that... anyone know where i might find one? i saw one on the victoria's secret website, but it's backordered and i'd need it pretty soon. Try Ann Taylor or Ann Taylor Loft, The Limited, Macy's...maybe even Banana Republic. Do you mean an empire waist?

i don't know what it's called, but they are fitted in the chest and then seem to flow out underneath, very flattering. my girlfriend got one in macys but it was patterned and i'd like a solid dark color.

Lord & Taylor had a TON of dresses - I was there last night. Upstairs and downstairs.

The fantastic thing about wrap dresses is that they look great on lots of different types of figures, plus size too! I wear them a lot, over jeans also they look really cute!

In her magazine there is a page of her favorite things. She puts clothes, accessories, hair stuff, etc. I would try checking her magazines or maybe her website for back issues and see if she has some dresses.

I know she wears a lot of wrap dresses..Diane von Furstenberg invited that style in the 70s, and you can still find them by her in Bloomies, Neimans, etc.
Are you talking about a wrap dress that has an empire waist?
I think your best bet is to try Bloomies.
Good luck.

Re: rachel ray type dresses
I was bored so I looked on her website for you. I found this:
Where do you shop for your clothes?
I love DKNY because Donna Karan is a self-made wonder and because she cuts her clothes to fit real bodies. Plus, her stuff is top quality and affordable. I also shop for new designers in small eclectic boutiques. My latest favorite in New York is Addict (addictny.com, 212-633-2672).

Julz-you're the best! I was just going to do this search myself because I fell in love with one of her dresses the other day!
