Radiator covers?
We have the old fashioned radiators in our house and they have never had covers. I have no idea where to even look for them-anyone know?

There are companies on the internet that make radiator covers but they are $$$$$.
I found TONS of DIY guides to making your own radiator covers on HGTV.com. Just do a search for "radiator covers" and you'll find them all.
If you know anyone who is handy or if hubby is handy, then it'd be easy to make your own - and cheaper!
Hope this helps!

Yes, my grandfather did this years ago in his old house (we're talking 1960's). Looking back, they were really beautiful... really pieces of furtniture.

Re: Radiator covers?
Wood structure, with lots of molding, some detail added with a router, and grates across the front for air circulation. Some we stained, some we painted. An upcoming project (if we choose to stay in this house) is to add ceramic tile to the top of the covers in the living room and dining room - they're currently painted and get very sticky when the heat is on.
It takes a bit of craftsmanship - luckily, between FH and I, we have just enough.
