Radio Stations in NY
I just got home from San Diego on Sunday and I can not get over how HORRIBLE New York radio is. We literally did NOT hear a single pop/rap song. Are there any good stations here or what? (I'm trying to get away from pop/rap stuff).

I only listen to satellite...but some of the popular stations are
100.3
106.1
103.5
ahh ok well in that case, 95.5 is good and if you like rock 92.3 is the only one we have
and this is the reason why i pay for satellite and it is the best decision I ever made, will never go back to reg radio

Are you looking for pop music / rap stations? (Just want to make sure I'm reading your post correctly)
Seems I can't find a station other than K-Rock that's NOT playing them!

Same here! Which is why I switched to satellite.

If you go to www.krgspec.com and click on Market and choose New York it will pull up all of the stations in the NY MArket and what their format is and what dial position you can find it...

No.  It is sort of shocking how few good stations there are considering the size of the market here.
I still mourn the radio station I left in San Francisco 7 years ago.
