Rainbow Themed First Birthday
DD's First Birthday is December 6th. I've already booked the hall for that weekend!
Does anyone have any suggustions for a Rainbow-Themed Party? I'm going to make Italian Rainbow cookies (her daddy's fave) and a rainbow cake for her... and I'm crocheting her a HUGE rainbow blanket (by accident I got carried away, it can fit on a Queen size bed, lol, it was supposed to be smaller...).
I'm gonna have my nephews and friend's kids there and they're older (but under 10) so I was in need of some games to play for prizes... Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe a "Pot at the end of the rainbow" tossing game. I'm making this up as I go, so bear with me....
Have a paper rainbow along the wall, indicating the starting location, and the target. Put a pot (adjust the size based on kid's ages) at one end of the rainbow, and have the kids stand at the other end. Toss things into the pot (fake coins, beanbags, small stones, etc). Give prizes based on getting it in the pot.

maybe incorporate books "rainbow fish" as favors or maybe they still seel rainbow fish partyware???
