Re: Ralphs ices...
I actually just emailed them over the weekend since they took their NI off their site. Haven't received a response yet.

Re: Ralphs ices...
I have no info and do not mean the hijack but some of them terribly upset my DH's stomach. I think there is one flavor that doesn't. He's diabetic and will not eat the regular ones. I can ask which sugar free flavor he tolerates if anyone wants to know. These stomach problems are common with sugar replacements.

Re: Ralphs ices...
I had a small sugar free half lemon half cherry and I ate half...
No stomach issues for me
But I know certain sugar free flavored ice cream (TCBY) have the same effect on me...

Was probably made with sorbitol, which can cause stomach upset and diarrhea. I've never had issues with sugar free ones.

I think that there are a few different sugar substitutes (including sorbitol) that cause my husband to have stomach reactions. Most of the time, he just prefers not to eat anything that has a sweet flavor unless he needs to for low blood sugar. Sometimes he just cannot resist Ralphs, though. It's a sugar free orange creamsicle flavor that he does fine with. He's gotta just stick with that flavor!!!!
