Random Ques-- anyone selling that has a baby?
What do you do when someone wants to see your place at night and the baby is sleeping? Or do you just not allow people to come then?

I know that when we looked at our house that we bought it was in the evening and the family had a baby and a toddler that shared a room and they were asleep in the room and we just weren't able to look at that room. When we went back for a second viewing we made sure to do it earlier so we could see that room.

If baby was sleeping, I would say NOT now. If baby was up, I would take a walk with baby.

I tried to schedule showings around naptimes and bedtime as much as possible. Sometimes I'd put off her nap a bit or push back bedtime to try and accommodate someone. It's very annoying but you never know if the person who wants to see your house will be the one!

Eddie was an infant when we had our place on the market. I just explained the viewers, that the baby was asleep and while you can look in the room from the door, Id appreciate it if you didnt walk around in it. No one had a problem with it.

My youngest has been napping quite a few times during showings. I just tell them that he's sleeping, but I never said not to go in the room. I he wakes up, he wakes up...but he never has.

We were desperate to sell so if someone wanted to see the apartment, we made it happen.
Usually we had advance notice, but not always.

DD was about 8-9mos old when we were selling our condo. People were pretty understanding if she was napping, most just peeked at the room from the door.

I wouldn't not take a showing
I would not let them in the room
in this market- take the showing - you really never know who is that 1 buyer that ends up putting the offer in
don't be the house/apartment that gets skipped for any reason
