Random question - High School tracks

Very random question -

Are you allowed to use the public school tracks during school hours? and, during football /lacrosse/soccer practices (they practice on the field in the middle)? Obviously I am thinking it's a no or frowned upon during track practice...

We just move in this past summer to a house that is very close to our HS. I was using the track almost everyday over the summer. Now that Spring time is coming around (hopefully)I would love to get some outside runs in again and find the track to be much easier on my knees and ankles than the street....

I do as long as the school is not using it at that time. I find nothing wrong with it.

I'd call the school to see what their policy is.

No, we are not allowed to use the track during the school year in my district. They even have the access gates closed when they are out there for school & practices. They will open them on the weekends though.

I would def call the school and check, it might be a security issues to let random people run around the track during school hours
