Random Question... Shingles?
Okay, so I'll admit it. I'm a bit of a hypocondriac. The other day, I woke up with a line of pimples going from my left eye straight across to my hairline on the left side. The next day, I woke up and it started going under my left eye, and into the crease. Today, I woke up and it hurts AND I have a fine covering of pimples all over my forehead (sounds GORGEOUS, right?) - the kind that's not visible unless you stare at my head up close. Every now and then, I feel my skin tightening up, starting to hurt, and then it gets itchy.
I didn't come into contact with poison ivy or any other irritant.
The part that bothers me is that LINE of decent sized pimples near/close to my eye. I only ask if it's shingles because my coworker's niece had them at 24 (definitely not only a problem for elderly people).
What do you think this is? Anyone ever have this? I'm going to make an appointment with the derm anyway, but I figured I'd ask the LIF experts first.

I know a couple of people that had them.
My understanding is it runs along the nerve & usually starts on one side.
eta. I would still go to the dermatologist. If shingles is near your eye, it could be serious.

eta. I would still go to the dermatologist. If shingles is near your eye, it could be serious.
omg, I'm $hitting myself here. It's only on my left side.
I'm calling the derm right now!

no to both...
Just called the derm... they're giving me an 11am appointment! Talk about being quick...
I'm going to head out now. I'll update when I get back! <fingers crossed!!!>
