So, every night, I ride my express bus home and pass a "Popeye's" chicken place. I see the advertisement on the window and it says "Try our Authentic Sides"
What makes a side authentic? What's the difference between what I get at Popeye's and what I get at KFC?

A good point.
Same thing goes for "new and improved".
It's either new OR improved. It can't possibly be both at the same time.
