Ray Ban Wayfarers
I'm looking to purchase my first pair of Ray Ban Wayfarers...for those who own them, do you like the Classic Wayfarers (50mm) or the New Wayfarers (52mm or 55mm)? I didn't realize there were so many different options! Also, is it worth the extra money to get polarized? Thanks for your help!!

i have the new wayfarers....the classic looked huge on my face and kept falling off.

I think the 52
I have the 55mm New Wayfarer and really like them but I feel like I have a big head/face. I tend to like my sunglasses on the bigger side too, so I think the 55mm was the better fit for me. I would suggest you go try them on because I was all set to order the 52 and then tried them on and felt the 55 was a better fit for me. HTH!

Good idea to go try them on instead of taking the chance ordering online...do you have the polarized kind? I've never owned polarized before and I wonder if they are worth the extra money?

I didn't get the polarized. I am very rough on my sunglasses (don't keep them in a case, throw them in my purse, etc) so I couldn't see spending the extra $. I tried both and the polarized didn't seem that much different to me. But other people SWEAR by them. I'd try them and see if you think it makes a difference. HTH!
