Raymour and Flanigan - good quality?

We are thinking about getting this unit from Raymour and Flanigan. DH wasn't too impressed with the construction -- wondering what people's experiences with them were and how your furniture holds up...

TIA! :)

It's not so much WHERE you buy the furniture (in terms of quality), but WHO THE MANUFACTURER is...

Lots of stores sell the same brands...

ETA- I knew some people that worked there and heard relly good things about their delivery and service Chat Icon

We got our bedroom furniture from them. We've only had it a few months. It's nice and strong...

i agree. however, i found them to be overpriced. i saw the exact same dining room set at 2 other places for almost $1K less than R&F.

I agree. I always find their sale prices to be a good deal. We have gotten things from them 3 times - an entertainment center, and upholstered ottoman and a kitchen table set. No problems with anything and the delivery was great. They were always on time, nice and they took all the wrapping/garbage with them.

I bought my bedroom set from there a little over a year ago. It still looks great and every piece held up well during our move. I was really happy with the delivery and set up as well. I will definitely shop there again. Good luck Chat Icon

My friend has this exact wall unit and it is beautiful in her living room. As for quality, I think that all reasonably priced furniture is not excellent quality. If you want really good quality, you have to pay top dollar.

Re: Raymour and Flanigan - good quality?

We were looking at similar entertainment centers there as well. My DH felt the same way. He thought that the wood wasn't good quality. I also think it matter who the manufacturer is. We ended up buying a piece from another store and paid a little more for better quality wood.
