Raymour and Flanigan bedroom furniture
I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with our bedroom set - we have had it not even a month and there are light scratches on the nightstand and dresser from normal use...

oh no! ... When you looked at their furniture in the store did you notice any of that? Maybe you can try some murphy's oil on it... of course in a discreet place first in case it messes up the wood... We got scratches like the very first day we got our set... nice long ones on our headboard from one of my cats  Havent tried to get them out yet though

thanks I will try it, it's barely noticeable but I'm afraid to see what it will look like in a year. We do have a protection plan for 5 years so I guess that's good if anything major happens...

I wouldn't be uspet with Raymour and Flanigan , I'd be upset with the manufacturer of the furniture. Raymour and Flanigan sells hundreds of different brands.
If you haven't had it that long, check out what the warranty includes.
Take advantage of the protection plan - I wound up getting a brand new sofa and one repaired from Macy's. I'll always buy the plan in the future. Totally worth it!

Thats true - I have no idea who manufactures it.
There should be some kind of stamp somewhere on it - did you look underneath? Regardless, use the protection - you paid for it so you might as well get your money's worth! 
I had something similar happen with a Pottery Barn Piece. It was after 30 days though ( it was like 45 days) and they told me I was SOL.

Call R&F their customer service is amazing and you never know ! I think they will send someone to your house to look at it ,and try and fix it or replace it !
