i' haven't been watching idol since the beginning so i'm not 100% sure but hasn't it always been a girl that won? i think this year it'll be down to david c and david a. i'm rooting for a guy just like i was rooting for a girl in biggest loser. a first for everything

Nope!
Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks both won! I hope a guy wins this time too, they are better than the women IMO!

they absolutely are. i forgot they won. i thought they were like runner up and just made it. i'm a dummy.
the only girl i really love is carly. i think when she gets in her mode, she's unbelievable.

I have to agree with that..I love carly too, terrific voice and personality but she really does need to let loose, stop getting tense and let her voice shine, as paula would say. I think she is unique and not cookie cutter like the others!
