RE: Clomid- is this normal?
Sorry if TMI but I'm guessing if you're taking Clomid you had to go thru this so I'm hoping someone can answer me. I got told that 3-5 days after my period starts I have to go and get a sonogram done at the drs office. That said I have to be there at 7:30 tomorrow morning I have to leave my house by 6:15 if not before just to make it in time... anyway then he is giving me a prescription for Clomid that day- then I think he said next week I have to go back for another sonogram and I think he mentioned at least one more after that- is this normal?

Re: RE: Clomid- is this normal?
I started Clomid on day 5 of my cycle. Yes, it is very normal for you to come in for a day 3-5 sonogram. And for you to come back for more sonograms to make sure that everything is running smoothly. They need to monitor your progress. They may take blood, too. Are you having an IUI this cycle?

Yes, this is absolutely normal..there will be more sonograms as well.
I had one day 3, then did Clomid days 5-9. Went back for sonogram day 11 and day 13. IUI will be tomorrow, day 15, ( I did my shot of Ovidrel last night).

No IUI for me- it's against hubbys beliefs My dr. said I should try Clomid for 2 or 3 cycles and if it doesn't work then we'll look at other options then.
