Re-Decorated My LR - What do you think? (pics)
Before
After
Since the holidays we had taken out the loveseat to put the Christmas Tree, and we decided to not put it back for now. We have two extra bedrooms right now, so the 2nd bedroom is going to stay a mini Den for now. 
So what do you think?

It def opens up the room alot more.
If you have another space to watch TV/Movie if you have people over then I would leave it, if not you might need the loveseat back.

The room looks so much bigger, I love what you did! And you still have just as much seating since you have the leather ottoman.

Actually there is the coffee table ottoman and the two smaller ottomans by the window, so actually I have two extra seats, without the Loveseat being there.  I just realized that now. Thanks for pointing that out Jess.

Lamps are from Target and the shades are from BBB.
ETA: they are like a bronze/rustic finish. Here is a close up.

I like the more room you have now, but if having people over, I'd move the loveseat back
JMO, I like the original curtains (green ones) better

our "formal" area is always too crowded looking. I'm always trying to make it look more spacious

Thanks everyone! As the seasons change I'll switch around the curtains, but for now, this set up is good for our every day use. If we have a party we can always put the loveseat back. 
And rkoenke.....I charge money...
